Hi friends! I'm Kalee - I am a documentary photographer from Columbus, Ohio and I am so excited that you're here! 

 

Let's start off by asking a question. What makes you, YOU? My goal and passion in life is to document life's messy, beautiful, and real moments. Think about what your favorite thing to do with your family is. Or what makes you and your partner laugh the most. If you just had a baby, what moments do you cherish more than anything?

I want to capture who you really are and what you really do. If that involves being a fly on the wall during your weekly family game night or going to the library because you and your spouse love to read books, then count me in! The beauty of everyday ordinary life is what I live for. People out there doing what they love, expressing who they are, and showing real connection while I sit there and make it look like art? Yes please!!

I realized I got a bit carried away and forgot to actually introduce myself. So, hello - I got my first camera when I was 16 and have been obsessed ever since. My other life's passion is music and live shows...so don't be surprised if I end up bringing music to your session (recommendations welcomed). Counting Crows is my favorite band but I always enjoy dancing to any type of music with my adorably goofy husband. I have the cutest silver lab named Kora, rainy days are my favorite days, and blankets are life.
